LED there be light...
I bought this conversion LED bulb for my tiny Maglite Solitare as its light output was so feeble, it was easily bettered by a firefly. The new LED has made an enormous difference, with a very bright white light. The bulb is fitted easily by removing the original bulb and slotting it into the torch firmly. Because it has a heat-sink, the reflector cap of the torch does not fit as far down the barrel as before, and care has to be taken not to unscrew the cap completely because of this, but it makes no difference to the performance. All in all, to be recommended.

Can't recommend this product enough. It has made my old maglite solitaire totally indispensable, I keep it in my pocket and use it every day, it's bright and the battery lasts for ages!
